Two J&K Students Secure Top 138 Ranks in NEET-UG 2026, Hadiya Nisar Tops the Union Territory

Two students from Jammu and Kashmir have secured places among the top 138 candidates in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2026, according to the results announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

As per the NTA’s list of candidates who scored 690 marks or above, Hadiya Nisar emerged as the highest-ranked candidate from Jammu and Kashmir by securing All India Rank (AIR) 99 with a 99.9930996 percentile.

Another student from the Union Territory, Zaidan Wani, secured AIR 124, also with a 99.9930996 percentile, earning a place among the country’s top performers.

The achievement has brought pride to Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting the strong performance of students from the region in one of India’s most competitive medical entrance examinations.

At the national level, Aryan Gupta from Punjab topped the NEET-UG 2026 examination by securing AIR 1 with a 99.9999 percentile. Panshul Bansal of Haryana secured AIR 2, while Uplakshya Goyal of Rajasthan finished at AIR 3.

According to the NTA, 138 candidates across India scored 690 marks or above in this year’s NEET-UG examination, placing Hadiya Nisar and Zaidan Wani among the country’s highest achievers.

The NEET-UG examination is conducted annually for admission to undergraduate medical courses, including MBBS, BDS and other allied health programmes across India.
