JDF Hoists National Flag at Nowgam Office, Reaffirms Commitment to Peace and Development
The Jammu & Kashmir Development Front (JDF) hoisted the National Flag at its head office in Nowgam, Srinagar, during the early morning hours of August 15 to mark Independence Day.

JDF Leaders Attend Flag-Hoisting Ceremony
Thoker was joined by Vice President Abdul Rehman Shalla, General Secretary Sayar Reshi, State Youth President Dr Kalimullah Lone, Central Kashmir Zonal President Farooq Ahmad Ganai (Faheem Farooq) and North Kashmir Zonal President Mohammad Sikander Malik.
Other members of the organisation also attended the ceremony. Officials from Nowgam Police Station were present on the occasion.
Focus on Democracy, Peace and Development
The ceremony was held in a spirit of patriotism, unity and commitment to democratic values, peace and development in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing the gathering, the organisation reaffirmed its commitment to working for the welfare, dignity and aspirations of the people within the constitutional framework.
The Independence Day programme concluded with a renewed pledge to contribute towards peace, development and the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
