Srinagar Road Accident: Motorcyclist Dies After Crashing Into Shop at Khanyar’s Siraz Chowk

A 28-year-old motorcyclist died after losing control of his motorcycle and crashing into a nearby shop at Siraz Chowk in the Khanyar area of Srinagar on Thursday, officials said.

According to an official, the deceased was riding a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle bearing registration number JK13F-2915 when he apparently lost control of the bike and crashed into the shop.

The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in the accident and died at the spot. Local residents informed the police, following which a team reached the scene.

The deceased was identified as Altaf Hussain Daded, 28, a resident of Sangerwani in Pulwama district.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and started an investigation to determine the circumstances leading to the accident.
