Har Ghar Tiranga 2026: ROC J&K, ICAI and ICSI Lead Vibrant Tiranga Yatra in Jammu

The event was held in collaboration with the Jammu-based chapters and branches of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).

Officers and officials of the ROC J&K office, along with members of ICAI and ICSI, participated enthusiastically in the march. The ICAI contingent was led by CA Amit Gupta, while the ICSI team was led by CS Sahil.

Carrying the National Flag with pride, participants spread messages of patriotism, national unity and responsible citizenship during the Tiranga Yatra.

Har Ghar Tiranga Promotes National Unity

Speaking to the media, Registrar of Companies, J&K, Haamid Bukhari, described the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign as a unique initiative aimed at strengthening the emotional connection between citizens, the National Flag and the nation.

He said the 2026 campaign is the fifth edition of the initiative, which began in 2022.

Bukhari said the campaign encourages citizens to display the Tricolour with pride while remembering the values and sacrifices associated with India’s freedom struggle.

150 Years of Vande Mataram

A special feature of this year’s celebrations is the commemoration of the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram, India’s National Song.

Bukhari said Vande Mataram represents an important part of India’s cultural history and reflects the spirit of patriotism and nationalism.

He said initiatives such as Har Ghar Tiranga help strengthen patriotic feelings among citizens and encourage people to remember the ideals, sacrifices and values of freedom fighters who contributed to India’s independence.

Highlighting the theme “Culture Unites Us All”, he said unity and patriotism should remain above differences and continue to guide citizens.

Campaign Reaches Indians Across the World

Bukhari also highlighted the growing reach of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

He said the initiative has developed into a people’s movement extending beyond India’s geographical boundaries. The National Flag has also been displayed at Indian embassies in different parts of the world, bringing members of the Indian diaspora together in celebrations of the Tricolour and national pride.

ICAI and ICSI Highlight Role in Nation-Building

CA Amit Gupta and CS Sahil, who represent the Jammu-based ICAI and ICSI professional communities respectively, also highlighted the importance of professional organisations participating in national initiatives.

They said the involvement of professional bodies demonstrates the role that professional communities can play in promoting responsible citizenship, unity and nation-building.

Tiranga Yatra Concludes With Unity Message

The Tiranga Yatra concluded with participants reaffirming their commitment to the values represented by the National Flag and the cultural ethos associated with Vande Mataram.

The participants pledged to carry forward the spirit of unity, integrity and patriotism in both their professional and public lives.

The event formed part of the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2026, which seeks to encourage citizens to proudly display and carry the National Flag while strengthening their connection with the nation and its shared values.
