According to initial reports, two suspected militants are believed to be trapped as an exchange of fire continues in the forest and orchard areas. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding their identities or the outcome of the operation.

Security Forces Launch Search Operation

The encounter began after security forces launched a cordon-and-search operation based on specific intelligence inputs about the presence of suspected militants in the area.

The operation is being carried out jointly by the Jammu and Kashmir Police’s Special Operations Group (SOG), the Indian Army, and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

Security forces have sealed off the area around Saidpora Payeen, Saidpora Bala and nearby villages while the operation remains in progress.

Two Suspected Militants Reportedly Trapped

Reports suggest that two suspected militants are trapped inside the cordoned area. Their reported identities have been circulating in local reports, but officials have not yet confirmed these details.
