Omar Abdullah on Saturday visited the residence of Baramulla Member of Parliament Engineer Rashid and MLA Langate Khursheed Ahmad Sheikh to offer condolences on the demise of their father, Haji Khizar Mohammad Sheikh.
Haji Khizar Mohammad Sheikh passed away last week after a prolonged illness.
During the visit, the Chief Minister expressed heartfelt sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
Omar Abdullah also prayed that the family is granted strength and patience to bear the irreparable loss.
