Drung–Tangmarg Road Closed After Landslide, Traffic Suspended Until Further Notice

According to an official, the landslide caused debris to fall onto the road, making it unsafe for vehicles. As a precaution, authorities immediately halted traffic to protect commuters.
Officials have urged travellers to avoid using the Drung–Tangmarg road until the debris is completely cleared and the road is inspected and declared safe for travel.
Road clearance teams have been deployed to remove the debris. However, officials have not yet announced when the road will reopen.
Motorists are advised to follow traffic advisories and use alternative routes where possible until normal traffic movement is restored.
