Ex Union Minister MK Alagiri’s Daughter Kayalvizhi Booked for Allegedly Slapping SBI Bank Manager in Chennai

Chennai: Chennai Police have registered a case against Kayalvizhi, daughter of former Union Minister MK Alagiri, for allegedly assaulting a State Bank of India (SBI) bank manager during an altercation at a commercial building in the city. Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The alleged incident, which was captured on CCTV, shows Kayalvizhi seated inside what appears to be an office along with another person while speaking to the SBI bank manager. As the discussion becomes heated, she is allegedly seen getting up and slapping the manager.

According to police officials, the bank manager lodged a complaint alleging that he was assaulted during the meeting.

The dispute reportedly began after the manager of the SBI Adyar branch asked Kayalvizhi to repair a faulty lift in the commercial building she owns, where the bank operates its branch.

Police said the request led to an argument, during which Kayalvizhi allegedly assaulted the bank manager.Following the incident, the bank’s chief manager submitted a formal complaint to the police.

Based on the complaint, Chennai Police registered a case against Kayalvizhi under four relevant sections of the law. Investigators have also taken the CCTV footage into custody as part of the evidence in the case.Police said further investigation is underway.
