CRPF Bunker Vehicle Overturns After Truck Collision in Kulgam, Five Personnel Injured
Five Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were injured on Tuesday after a truck collided with their bunker vehicle on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Kulgam district of south Kashmir, officials said. Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The accident took place in the Levdora area of Qazigund when a truck, bearing registration number JK02DU-4386, collided with a CRPF bunker vehicle carrying registration number JK02CG-5795.
The impact caused the CRPF vehicle to overturn.
Injured Personnel Shifted for Treatment
All five injured CRPF personnel were immediately taken to the MI Room of the 163 Battalion CRPF at Qazigund for medical treatment.
Officials said their condition is stable and the injuries are minor.
The injured personnel have been identified as:
- Inspector Raj Kumar Tiwari
- Sub-Inspector (GD) Rajinder Singh
- ASI (GD) Lovenday
- ASI (GD) Umesh Kumar
- Head Constable (Driver) Virender
Police Begin Investigation
Following the accident, a police team reached the spot and began an inquiry into the incident.
Officials said the investigation will establish the circumstances that led to the truck colliding with the CRPF bunker vehicle.
