Sajad Lone Rejects Independence Day Parade Boycott Reports, Calls Claims ‘Gibberish’

Peoples Conference president and Handwara MLA Sajad Lone has rejected reports circulating on social media claiming that he boycotted the Independence Day parade in Kupwara district.

“I can make it clear from my side that nothing of that sort happened. I was not in Kupwara on that particular day,” Lone said.

Lone Calls Boycott Reports ‘Gibberish’

The Peoples Conference leader strongly dismissed the claims, saying the reports about him boycotting the Independence Day celebrations were completely false.

“Rest all this boycott news story about me is pure gibberish,” he stated.

The clarification came after claims about Lone’s alleged absence from the Independence Day parade began circulating on social media.

Lone’s statement appears aimed at putting an end to the speculation surrounding his alleged boycott of the event.
