Unidentified Woman’s Body Recovered from River in Surankote, Poonch
Poonch: An unidentified female body was recovered from a river in the Mora Bachhi area of Surankote in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Wednesday, officials said.
According to officials, a police team reached the spot after receiving information that a body was floating in the river.
The identity of the deceased woman has not yet been established.
Body Sent for Post-Mortem
Police said the body will be shifted to Sub District Hospital, Surankote, where legal formalities and a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
The examination is expected to help investigators establish the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.

Police have initiated an investigation to identify the deceased and determine the cause of death.
