Tribute to the Martyred Police Officer

During the ceremony, the Lieutenant Governor paid tribute to Head Constable Ashiq Hussain Qureshi, remembering his courage and sacrifice while serving the nation.

Sinha said the police officer laid down his life in the line of duty during the terrorist attack in Anantnag and honoured his dedication to protecting the people.

Assures Continued Support

The Lieutenant Governor assured the bereaved family of the administration’s continued support and reiterated the government’s commitment to the welfare of the families of martyred security personnel.

He said the administration would continue to stand with the family during this difficult time.

Visited Family Earlier

Last week, Manoj Sinha visited the martyr’s family at Lalpora, Beerwah in Budgam district to express his condolences.

During the visit, he assured the family of all possible assistance and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting the families of security personnel who lose their lives in the line of duty.

The appointment of the martyr’s son is part of the administration’s efforts to provide assistance and support to the families of personnel who have made the supreme sacrifice while serving Jammu and Kashmir.
