Social Media Influencer Mateena Jeelani Joins Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party
Srinagar: Social media influencer Mateena Jeelani formally joined the Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party on Saturday during a joining ceremony held at the party headquarters in Srinagar. Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The event was attended by Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, who welcomed Jeelani into the party.
Mateena Jeelani, a resident of Rajpora Rajwar village in the Handwara area of Kupwara district in north Kashmir, said she decided to join the Apni Party because of its emphasis on youth empowerment and grassroots development.
Speaking on the occasion, Jeelani praised Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari’s leadership and said she was impressed by the party’s commitment to addressing public concerns and working for the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Apni Party welcomed her into its ranks, expressing confidence that her association would help strengthen the party’s outreach, particularly among young people.
Jeelani’s induction comes as political parties in Jammu and Kashmir continue to expand their engagement with youth and public figures ahead of future political activities in the Union Territory.
