Security Forces Launch Massive Search Operation After Suspicious Movement Near Tunnel in Poonch

According to officials, a security guard deployed at the construction site noticed the movement and immediately fired three to four rounds as a precautionary measure.
No casualties or damage to property have been reported so far, officials said.
Following the incident, a joint search operation began at around 6 am. Personnel from the Jammu and Kashmir Police, Special Operations Group (SOG) and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were deployed to search forest areas around Bhatadurian, Sangiot and adjoining locations.
Security personnel are conducting searches across the surrounding forest areas to establish the nature of the suspicious movement and ensure that there is no security threat in the area.
Officials said that further details are awaited as the search operation continues.
