Police described the operation as a major success and said it showed how technology is helping improve security for the annual pilgrimage.
In a post on X, Anantnag Police said the Facial Recognition System generated a timely alert, allowing officers to identify and arrest the three OGWs in the Sarbal area.
The police also reaffirmed their commitment to using advanced technology to strengthen security and ensure that the Amarnath Yatra remains safe, secure, and free from any untoward incidents.
