The premiere drew attention from film lovers and marked a memorable occasion for the cast and crew. Released in cinemas on 3 July 2026, Baby Do Die Do stars Huma Qureshi as Baby Karmarkar, a deaf and mute contract killer operating in Mumbai’s criminal underworld. The film has received praise for its unique storyline and Huma’s powerful performance.
Speaking to journalists in Kashmir, Huma said she was delighted that audiences were enjoying the film. She explained that taking on such a bold character and telling the story in a dark-comedy style was a creative risk, and she was pleased to see viewers appreciating the effort.
Despite releasing on a limited number of screens and facing competition from bigger films, Baby Do Die Do has performed well at the box office. Positive reviews and strong word of mouth have helped the film attract audiences, especially younger viewers, who have praised its stylish action, gripping story, and creative umbrella-gun sequences.
Directed by Nachiket Samant, the film is presented by Saleem Siblings in association with Pune-04 Picture LLP. Along with Huma Qureshi, the cast includes Chunky Panday, Sikandar Kher, and Seema Pahwa, all playing important roles.
Before leaving, Huma thanked the people of Kashmir for their warm welcome and hospitality. She said the beauty and atmosphere of the Valley continue to inspire artists and filmmakers from across the country.
