Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah Mourn Demise of Educationist Bashir Ahmad Masoodi

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have expressed profound grief over the passing of noted educationist Bashir Ahmad Masoodi, the uncle of senior National Conference leader and Pampore MLA Hasnain Masoodi.

In separate condolence messages, the two leaders described the late Bashir Ahmad Masoodi as a respected educationist whose life was dedicated to education, integrity and service to society.

Leaders Offer Condolences

Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and conveyed their heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family.

They also prayed that the family is granted strength and patience to bear the loss.

Farooq Abdullah Visits Bereaved Family

Dr Farooq Abdullah visited the bereaved family at their residence in Upper Soura, Srinagar, to offer his personal condolences.

During the visit, he offered Fatiha for the departed soul, expressed solidarity with the grieving family and conveyed his sympathies to the sons and sons-in-law of the deceased.

Several senior National Conference leaders also extended their condolences, including:
