CJP Says Dharmendra Pradhan’s Resignation Is ‘Non-Negotiable’, Seeks ₹1 Crore Compensation for NEET Victims’ Families

The organisation, which is leading protests against the alleged examination irregularities, also demanded ₹1 crore compensation for the families of students who reportedly died by suicide after the cancellation of the NEET examination on May 3.
The demands were raised during a two-hour meeting between CJP representatives and Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh at Vithalbhai Patel House in New Delhi.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, CJP National Spokesperson Saurav Das said the party made it clear that the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan remains its top demand and there would be no compromise on the issue.
Das also said the CJP asked the government to withdraw all FIRs registered against protesters and provide financial assistance of ₹1 crore to each family of the alleged suicide victims linked to the NEET controversy.
Union Minister JP Nadda said the government had listened to the demands and would respond after reviewing them. He confirmed that both sides would meet again on Saturday for another round of discussions.
The meeting was part of the Centre’s efforts to find a peaceful and mutually acceptable solution to the demands raised by the protesters over alleged examination irregularities and the NEET paper leak issue.
