Srinagar Bus Conductor Dies After Falling From Moving Bus in Muniwar
A 60-year-old bus conductor died after falling from a moving bus when an auto-rickshaw collided with it in the Muniwar area of Srinagar, officials said.
According to an official, the conductor was standing near the door of the bus when an auto-rickshaw suddenly hit the vehicle.
The impact caused him to lose his balance and fall from the moving bus. He suffered serious head injuries in the accident.
The injured conductor was immediately shifted to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for treatment. However, he later succumbed to his injuries, the official said.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Majeed Teli, 60, son of Ghulam Mohammad Teli, a resident of Nawabazar in Srinagar.
Meanwhile, police have initiated an investigation into the incident. Further details are awaited as the probe continues.
