Record-Breaking Attendance

This year’s event saw an incredible turnout. Reports say nearly one lakh people visited the shrine over two days. Pilgrims traveled from Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Jammu, Udhampur, Kishtwar, Shopian, Anantnag, Kupwara, Baramulla, and many other places to be part of the spiritual gathering.

The atmosphere was electric with night-long prayers, soulful gatherings, and inspiring talks by Islamic scholars who shared stories from the saint’s life and teachings.

Emotional Grand Finale

The Urs concluded on Monday with a special collective prayer (Dua) led by Sajada Nasheen Mian Altaf Ahmad of Darbar Baba Ji Larvi. Devotees stood together, raising their hands and praying for peace, prosperity, unity, brotherhood, and communal harmony across Kashmir.

Mian Altaf Ahmad spoke warmly to the huge crowd. He encouraged everyone to:

  • Work sincerely for the welfare of humanity
  • Keep the youth away from drugs and social problems, and push them toward education and positive contributions to society

His words struck a chord with many, especially parents and young attendees.

Local administration worked hard to make sure everything ran safely. They arranged tight security, smooth traffic management, medical facilities, and other support so devotees could focus fully on their prayers and spiritual experience.
