In a separate incident in Srinagar, firefighters and disaster-response personnel brought a blaze under control after an old, unused houseboat caught fire at Kabutar Khana near Char Chinari.Both incidents were brought under control, with officials reporting no casualties.

Two houses gutted in Ramban

The first fire was reported from Akhran Trigam in Khari Tehsil, Ramban district, on Saturday.

According to the Khari Tehsil Administration, the blaze spread through two residential structures and caused extensive damage.

Emergency teams responded to the incident and worked to prevent the flames from spreading further.

The fire was eventually brought under control and completely doused.

While the damage to the houses was extensive, officials confirmed that no loss of life was reported.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
