Jammu and Kashmir National Conference suffered another political setback in Ganderbal after youth leader Sohail Khan resigned from the party.
Sohail Khan, who is known as a prominent youth figure and convener of Civil Society Safapora, announced his resignation from the National Conference on Monday. Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
His resignation comes shortly after the exit of Sayim Mustafa, adding to concerns for the party in the Ganderbal region.
Sources said Sohail Khan had been active in youth and social issues in Safapora and surrounding areas and was considered a dynamic face of the party at the grassroots level.
However, the reasons behind his resignation were not immediately known, and no official statement was issued by the party till the filing of this report.
