Srinagar Police Seal Illegal Medical Shop in SK Bagh Under Anti-Drug Drive

As part of the ongoing anti-drug campaign, Srinagar Police, in coordination with the Drug Control Department, carried out inspections of medical shops in the SK Bagh area of Srinagar.

Shop Found Operating Without Licence

During the inspection, conducted in the presence of the Drug Inspector Budgam, a medical shop named Rafeeqi Medicate was found operating without a valid drug licence.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The shop is owned by Hanan Rafeeqi, son of Javid Ahmed Rafeeqi, and was functioning in the SK Bagh area.

Immediate Action Taken

Authorities immediately sealed the shop on the spot in accordance with legal provisions.

Officials said the action was part of strict enforcement measures under the ongoing anti-drug campaign.

Crackdown Under Nasha Mukt Abhiyan

The inspection was carried out under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, aimed at curbing drug abuse and preventing illegal sale of medicines.

Police said such checks will continue across the region to ensure compliance with drug laws.

Public Urged to Cooperate

Srinagar Police has appealed to the public to support the campaign by reporting any illegal sale or misuse of medicines.

Officials warned that strict action will be taken against anyone found violating the law.
