In a strong crackdown on drug trafficking, Bandipora Police, along with the civil administration, demolished two shops and two marlas of land linked to an alleged drug peddler, Lal Din Sheikh from Hakbara Hajin.

In a separate operation, Sumbal Police also carried out a demolition drive. This action targeted shops owned by another alleged drug peddler, Abid Rashid Reshi, son of Abdul Rashid Reshi, a resident of Hilal Abad Nesbal in Sumbal.
Authorities confirmed that such strict measures will continue in the future. The goal is to eliminate drug trafficking networks and protect young people from the harmful effects of substance abuse.
