The bandh has received support from several social and religious organisations in the area.

Justice Sought for Minor Girl

The bandh was called to demand speedy justice for the minor girl and strict action against those allegedly involved in the case.

Members of both organisations have urged the administration to complete the investigation quickly and ensure justice for the victim and her family.

The shutdown comes amid growing public concern over the case and demands for strong legal action against all those found responsible.

Five Arrested So Far

Three more people have recently been arrested in connection with the case, taking the total number of arrests to five.

SSP Kishtwar had earlier confirmed the fresh arrests while stating that the investigation by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) is continuing.

Police are examining various aspects of the case and further action will be taken on the basis of the evidence collected during the investigation.

Security Tightened Across Kishtwar

Meanwhile, authorities have strengthened security arrangements across Kishtwar town and deployed additional police personnel at sensitive locations.

Security forces have been placed on alert to maintain law and order and prevent any untoward incident during the bandh.

The situation is being closely monitored by the authorities.

More details are awaited.
