18-Year-Old Srinagar Youth Feared Drowned in Nallah Sindh in Ganderbal

An 18-year-old youth from Srinagar is feared to have drowned in Nallah Sindh near the dumping park at Kijpara in the Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday.

The missing youth has been identified as Danish Bilal, son of Bilal Ahmad Hajam, a resident of Hafiz Bagh near Kashmir University in Srinagar.

According to preliminary information, Danish had gone to Nallah Sindh to take a bath. He reportedly disappeared after entering the water, causing concern among people present at the spot.

Following the incident, Kangan Police, along with local residents, reached the area and launched a search operation to locate the missing youth.

Search efforts are currently underway, with police and locals working to trace Danish in the water channel and surrounding areas.
