Baramulla Police Attach Property Worth ₹69.82 Lakh in 2008 Militancy Case, Arrest Warrant Issued
BARAMULLA: Police in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district have attached land valued at more than ₹69.82 lakh in connection with a 2008 militancy-related case, officials said on Sunday.
The action was taken following an order issued by the Special NIA Court in Sopore in a case registered at Chandoosa Police Station under several provisions of law, including the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and the Enemy Agents Ordinance.

Property worth ₹69.82 lakh attached
According to a police spokesperson, the property attached in the case belongs to Parvaiz Ahmad Famda, a resident of Kawhar Bala in Chandoosa.
The property consists of land measuring:
- 12 kanal
- 1 marla
- 73 square feet
The land has been valued at ₹69,82,550, according to the valuation certificate obtained by the authorities.
The attachment was carried out in accordance with the court’s order.
Special NIA Court issues attachment order
The property attachment order was issued by the Special NIA Court in Sopore in connection with the case registered at Chandoosa Police Station.
The case dates back to 2008 and relates to alleged militancy-related activities.
