Shashi Tharoor Meets LG Manoj Sinha in Srinagar
Congress MP and former Union Minister Shashi Tharoor on Sunday met Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Lok Bhavan in Srinagar.

Positive Outlook on Jammu and Kashmir
In a post on X, Tharoor said he was encouraged by the developments taking place in the region and welcomed the positive outreach efforts being undertaken.
He noted that when he arrived, the Lieutenant Governor was interacting with representatives of the Kashmiri Writers’ Association and a women’s organisation, which he described as a constructive and positive initiative.
Challenges Remain, Says Tharoor
While expressing optimism, Tharoor acknowledged that several challenges still remain and that much work is yet to be done.
However, he said he left the meeting feeling more positive about the situation than he had in some time.

The meeting focused on the prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir and efforts aimed at promoting peace, stability and development in the region.
