Dumper Driver Dies of Electrocution in North Kashmir’s Uri
A 45-year-old dumper driver died on Thursday after suffering a fatal electric shock in the Rajarwani area of Uri, located in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
How the Incident Happened According to local officials, the incident occurred whilst the driver was unloading materials from the tipper truck. During the unloading process, the vehicle accidentally came into direct contact with a live overhead 33-KV high-tension electricity cable, causing a massive electric shock.
Medical Response The driver sustained severe injuries and was immediately rushed to the nearby Sub-District Hospital (SDH) in Uri in critical condition. However, attending doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
