Unidentified Woman Found Dead in River Jhelum Near Nawa Kadal in Srinagar

According to an official, the woman was found in the river near Nawa Kadal and was retrieved by local residents.She was then taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention. However, doctors declared her brought dead on arrival, the official said.

The identity of the deceased woman could not be established immediately.

Officials said further proceedings have been initiated and more details are awaited.
