Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference (JKPC) Chairman Sajad Lone expressed profound grief over the passing of a former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh describing him as a “great human being and a gentleman.” 

In his heartfelt statement, Lone acknowledged the late Prime Minister’s immense contribution as an economist and reformist. “The economist Prime Minister will always be remembered for his pioneering reforms and liberalisation,” Lone remarked, highlighting the pivotal role the departed leader played in transforming India’s economy.

Lone extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved family and the nation. He prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul, emphasizing the enduring legacy the leader leaves behind. (KNS)

Sajad Lone has extended heartfelt condolences to the family of Mirwaiz Kashmir on the passing of Mirwaiz Mohammad Ahmad, son of the revered Mirwaiz Yousuf Shah, known as Muhajir-e-Millat and Mufasir-e-Quran.

In a message shared on the social platform X, Lone expressed his sorrow, recalling his personal meet with Mirwaiz Mohammad Ahmad. “I had the chance to meet Mirwaiz Mohammad Ahmad sahib. A perfect gentleman.And a pious soul,” Lone said, highlighting his admiration for the late spiritual leader’s character and integrity.

Lone concluded his message with a prayer, saying, “May Allah grant him Jannat,” reflecting the collective grief of the community and admiration for the late Mirwaiz’s legacy. (KNS)
