Sajad Lone Urges Immediate Restoration of water supply at Handwara hospital

Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Conference President Sajad Lone expressed serious concern today over the ongoing water crisis at Handwara hospital, which has been without water for three consecutive days.

In an official statement, Lone highlighted that the water disruption stemmed from damage to the pipes due to a human error, reportedly by a department not responsible for water management.

“This deadlock between departments, despite both being under the same administration, has left patients and staff in dire need, with some even relying on mosque facilities for basic necessities,” he said.

Lone called on DC Kupwara to intervene urgently, stressing the critical need to restore the hospital’s water supply to safeguard patient care and restore essential services.(KNS).
