However, conditions are likely to improve from tomorrow, with rainfall gradually decreasing. From late afternoon onwards, the weather is expected to remain mostly dry across Jammu and Kashmir until the evening of April 7.
Residents may get a short break from the wet weather during this period.
But this relief will not last long. A fresh Western Disturbance is expected to affect the region from the evening of April 7 to April 9. This system is likely to bring another round of widespread rain and snowfall across Jammu and Kashmir.
People are advised to stay updated with weather alerts, especially those living in higher altitude areas where snowfall may impact travel and daily life.
