Dr. Owais Ahmed IAS Commissioner SMC, conducted a thorough inspection of snow clearance and dewatering operations in Srinagar City today.

During his visit, Commissioner reviewed the effectiveness of ongoing snow clearance activities, ensuring that all roads, lanes, bylanes, pathways, and walkways are being cleared efficiently to facilitate safe travel for residents. He assessed the allocation of resources and the collaboration among the teams involved in these operations.

In addition to snow clearance, the Commissioner visited permanent dewatering stations to evaluate their functionality. These stations are vital for managing waterlogged areas during periods of snowmelt and rainfall, particularly in low-lying areas.
