A tragic accident on Wednesday evening claimed the life of a 35-year-old Indian Army soldier in the Ramban district. The incident happened near Dalwas when a Tata Tiago car (registration JK14G-5411) veered off the Sawni Link Road and plunged roughly 200 feet down onto the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) below.

The Station House Officer (SHO), Jatinder Singh Rakwal, confirmed that the body has been moved to the District Hospital Ramban for the necessary legal and medical formalities before being handed over to his family.

A 30-year-old Indian Army soldier died due to a suspected heart attack in the Tangdhar area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday.

According to the sources, the soldier collapsed after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest while on duty. Army personnel immediately responded, but he could not be revived.

Following the incident, the soldier’s body was airlifted by an Army helicopter to Srinagar for further medico-legal and administrative formalities, officials said.

An Indian Army soldier died on Sunday after suffering a cardiac arrest at a military camp in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.

The soldier, Naik Pargat Singh, collapsed at the 19 Rashtriya Rifles Camp in Larkipora area of Anantnag. He was immediately attended to, but could not be saved.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Naik Pargat Singh was a resident of Amritsar in Punjab and had joined the Army in 2015. He had been serving the nation for nearly a decade.

The Srinagar-based Chinar Corps expressed deep sorrow over his death. In a message posted on X, the Corps said it was deeply grieved by the untimely loss of the brave soldier and extended heartfelt condolences to his family.

The Army said it stands firmly with the bereaved family during this difficult time.
