Kashmir University Concludes IDE Bootcamp, Hosts JoVE Workshop for Science Students

University of Kashmir concluded its five-day Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp while also hosting a special workshop aimed at improving teaching, learning and research in science and technology.

IDE Bootcamp Concludes at Kashmir University

The five-day IDE Bootcamp (Edition 3, Phase II) ended with the valedictory function presided over by Naseer Iqbal.

The bootcamp had been launched earlier this week at the Main Campus and was organised by the Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship, Institute of Technology Zakura Campus.

It was conducted in collaboration with Ministry of Education Innovation Cell, All India Council for Technical Education, Wadhwani Foundation and SBI Foundation.

The programme was held simultaneously across 13 institutions nationwide.

Focus on Innovation and Problem Solving

The bootcamp aimed to improve participants’ problem-solving skills and help them turn ideas into practical solutions.

Special focus was given to innovation, entrepreneurship and real-world applications, helping students develop future-ready skills.

Allama Iqbal Library Hosts JoVE Workshop

Meanwhile, Allama Iqbal Library organised a one-day workshop in collaboration with JoVE for the Schools of Sciences and Technology.

The workshop theme was “JoVE in Action: Revolutionising Teaching, Learning and Scientific Discovery.”

Strong Participation from Students and Faculty

The event received an overwhelming response, attracting nearly 180 participants, including faculty members, research scholars and students.

The workshop aimed to create awareness about the JoVE platform and how it can improve teaching, learning and research through engaging visual and interactive content.
