University of Kashmir Postpones July 24–25 Exams Due to Bad Weather
Srinagar: The University of Kashmir (KU) has postponed all examinations scheduled for July 24 and July 25, 2026, due to the prevailing bad weather conditions across the Kashmir Valley. Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
According to an official notification issued by the Assistant Controller of Examinations (Conduct), all university examinations planned for the two days have been postponed until further notice.
The University said that fresh dates for the postponed examinations will be announced separately through an official notification after the weather situation improves.
The notification stated, “In view of the inclement weather conditions, it is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that all University Examinations scheduled to be held on 24/07/2026 and 25/07/2026 are hereby postponed. The revised date(s) for the conduct of the postponed examination(s)/paper(s) shall be notified separately in due course.”
The decision comes as continuous rainfall has affected normal life across Kashmir, with authorities issuing weather advisories and urging people to remain cautious.
Students have been advised to regularly visit the University’s official website and check official notifications for updates regarding the revised examination schedule.
