In a significant move to address power overloading issues in the Lolab region, MLA Lolab Qaysar Lone visited the almost-completed Dilbagh Diver receiving station on Sunday.The inspection aimed to assess the current progress and ensure that the station will be operational ahead of the approaching winter.
MLA Lone expressed satisfaction with the progress and emphasized the critical role the station will play in alleviating power supply challenges, particularly during the peak winter months. With increased demand during this period, the receiving station is set to mitigate the issue of overloading, providing much-needed relief to the residents of Lolab.
He directed the concerned authorities to expedite the final stages of completion and ensure immediate functionality of the station.This, he noted, will help guarantee an uninterrupted power supply during the cold season, improving the quality of life for people in the area.
“The Dilbagh Diver receiving station is a vital infrastructure project for the people of Lolab. As winter approaches, it is essential that we ensure reliable and efficient power distribution. I have directed the officials to expedite the final processes so that the station becomes operational without further delay,” said MLA Lone during his visit.
The development of this station is part of ongoing efforts to upgrade and expand power infrastructure in the region. The new facility is expected to significantly reduce the burden on existing power systems, enhancing both capacity and reliability.(KNS).
