Pulwama’s Sidra Mukhtar Shines with Second Place in 12th Class Arts Exam
In a significant achievement that has filled the Pulwama district with pride, Sidra Mukhtar, a student at Government Higher Secondary School in Arihal, secured second place in the arts stream in the recently announced 12th class examination results. Sidra’s success has thrust her into the spotlight, serving as an inspiration for students across the region.
In an interview with Rising Kashmir at her home in the tranquil village of Arihal, Sidra credited her success to the unwavering support and guidance from her teachers and parents.
“I worked diligently for the exams, but I never imagined I would be among the top rank holders,” she shared with a humble smile. Sidra explained that she dedicated the early morning hours to her studies, finding this time most conducive to focus and consistency. Her teachers and parents were instrumental in helping her manage exam stress and stay motivated.
The news of Sidra’s outstanding performance sparked celebrations throughout Arihal.
Her home became a center of joy as neighbors and well-wishers gathered to congratulate her. The Principal of Government Higher Secondary School, Mohammad Ashraf, along with his staff, personally visited Sidra’s residence to commend her exceptional achievement.
The Principal praised Sidra’s success as a milestone for the school, expressing his pride in the dedicated teaching staff.
“This is not just a proud moment for our school but for the entire district. Sidra, coming from a modest background and achieving such a high rank without any coaching classes, is truly inspiring,” he said.
