A woman Special Police Officer (SPO) was injured on Thursday after an accidental gunshot was discharged from a 12-bore rifle of a security guard.
Officials told GNS that the lady SPO suffered a bullet injury to her ear when a gun carried by an SBI security guard went off accidentally. Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The injured officer has been identified as Mehmooda Begum. She was immediately referred to GMC Baramulla for further medical treatment.Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and started necessary proceedings.
