Abrar said, “Had NC not rigged the 1987 elections, Syed Salahuddin would have been the Chief Minister today. The rigging changed the political landscape forever and pushed Kashmir into turmoil.”

He further blasted the PDP leadership, stating that the party “brought destruction to Jammu & Kashmir by aligning with the BJP solely for power.” He said PDP’s decisions inflicted lasting damage on the political and social fabric of the region.

Abrar Rashid also held BJP responsible for deepening alienation and exploiting Kashmir’s political sensitivities, calling it a party that “thrives on division, not development.”

AIP leaders reaffirmed that the people of Budgam now see Er Rashid’s mission of justice and accountability as the only credible path forward, and the growing public support reflects a strong desire for change.

The rally concluded with renewed commitment from party workers to intensify the campaign and ensure a decisive mandate for AIP candidate Nazir Ahmad Khan.
