Hurriyat leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Wednesday welcomed the recently announced two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran, calling it a positive step towards peace.

Mirwaiz extended congratulations to all parties involved in achieving the ceasefire, including Islamabad, for playing a key role in facilitating the agreement.
