Replying to a query on relief measures for flood-affected people, CM Omar, per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said there is no fresh policy for flood-hit families as there was no need for one.
“As far as the landless people are concerned, the paperwork has been completed,” he said, adding that they will receive land under the PMAY pattern.
The Chief Minister further said that the assessment has been conducted by the central team and the Union Agriculture Minister, who found that Jammu had suffered losses similar to those faced by Kashmir in 2014.
He added that the government has written to the Centre regarding the relief package, and once received, it will be disbursed without any discrimination—(KNO)
