Three army soldiers were hurt on Saturday during an anti-terrorist operation in Dolgam village, Kishtwar district, Jammu and Kashmir. Reports say Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorists are trapped inside an area secured by joint security forces.

Officials said the soldiers were injured during a gunfight that started again on Saturday morning. They believe 2 to 3 JeM terrorists are surrounded. The forces first found the terrorists’ location in the early hours of 31st January during the joint ‘Operation TRASHI-I’. The operation is still going on.

This contact came after a long search. An earlier part of this operation happened on 18th January near Chatroo, where an army paratrooper was sadly killed.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The Army’s White Knight Corps posted on X (formerly Twitter) that their troops, along with Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF, found the terrorists in Dolgam. They used coordinated intelligence to plan the action. A secure cordon is in place.

Firing started again early Saturday. For security, mobile internet was turned off in the area on Friday.

Joint forces have been searching non-stop since the 19th of January. After 12 days, they tracked the terrorists to Dolgam village. More updates from the encounter site are awaited.
