Cabinet Approves LG’s Speech, will Fullfill All Promises in Hundred Days of Government: Javed Rana

J&K cabinet meeting chaired by Omar Abdullah approved Lieutenant Governor’s speech in Assembly session and directed the ministers to start exercise in their respective departments to takle the unemployment.

Minister, Javed Rana said that during the meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized the urgency of addressing unemployment, terming it a “grave issue” that demands immediate action.

The Chief Minister directed all ministers to initiate measures within their respective departments to tackle unemployment. “We will fulfill everything promised in the election manifesto. It has only been a month since our government took charge. In the next two months, we will ensure visible progress,” the CM assured.

As part of the government’s strategy, job vacancies have already been referred to the Public Service Commission (PSC) and the Service Selection Board (SSB).This move is expected to expedite the recruitment process and create new employment opportunities, he added according to KNS.

Additionally, the construction of a new Assembly complex was a key topic of discussion during the meeting. The government is keen to accelerate its development as a symbol of progress and functionality.

The possible fallout of the impending snowfall was also deliberated. Minister Javed Rana highlighted the meeting discussed the preparedness to mitigate disruptions caused by extreme weather conditions in the coming months. (KNS)

Several delegations from various districts of Kashmir province today met the Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest & Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmad Rana today at the Civil Secretariat here.

The visiting deputations raised critical developmental concerns pertaining to their respective areas, seeking the Minister’s intervention in redressal of the same.

During the interaction, the delegations expressed their gratitude to the Minister for his leadership in spearheading and organising the electorate of far flung Pir Panjal region.

A delegation led by General Secretary of SFC, Retired Employees Forum J&K, submitted a memorandum to the Minister urging his intervention for granting pensionary benefits to employees of J&K State Forest Corporation (SFC).

The Contractors delegations also submitted representation seeking release of pending funds, clearance of the revised cost estimates (LIS) Scheme, establishment of a revolving fund and other issues.

They brought to his attention pressing issues like release of UT share for Tral lift irrigation Scheme and particularly those related to infrastructure development and social services, requesting the government’s immediate attention to these matters.

Responding to the issues of the delegations, Javed Rana assured the deputations that their concerns would be addressed on priority. He reiterated the commitment of Omar Abdullah led government towards ensuring balanced development of all regions and sub-regions of Jammu and Kashmir emphasizing the government’s priority to address the needs of every community with special focus on the downtrodden.
