Deputy Commissioner Budgam Akshay Labroo Inspects BSNL 4G Towers

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo, conducted an extensive visit to inspect the status of BSNL 4G towers installed at Kanidajan, Nagbal, and Yousmarg areas under the 4G saturation project. During the visit, the DC directed BSNL and line departments to coordinate closely and resolve all issues holding back the final operationalization of the towers.

The DC emphasized the importance of ensuring uninterrupted connectivity for the local population and tourists. The successful telecom connectivity test at the Yousmarg BSNL tower site marked a significant step towards achieving this goal. The installation of these towers will facilitate online educational classes and digital transactions, benefiting both residents and visitors.

The DC was accompanied by CEO Yousmarg Development Authority, Bilal Khursheed, SDM Chadoora, Chief Planning Officer Budgam, Tehsildar Chrarsharief, SDO BSNL, engineers from KPDCL, and other concerned officers.

District Commissioner of Budgam explores SDH Chadoora and Health & Wellness Center under construction in Kralpora

Budgam, January 10 : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Akshay Labroo of Budgam conducted inspections at SDH Chadoora and the under-construction Health & Wellness Centre in Kralpora, assessing the status of healthcare facilities. During the visit, the DC emphasized the swift operationalization of the lift facility and new OT section to ensure 24/7 functionality.

Labroo instructed the concerned authorities to expedite the functionality of these essential facilities. He underscored the importance of proper maintenance, efficient functioning, and clear signage for the recently dedicated hospital toilet complex. Additionally, Labroo directed the initiation of construction and repairs for the boundary wall, tile works, and completion of sanitary works at the healthcare facility.

Addressing the need for modern machinery and equipment, Labroo assured that necessary upgrades would be undertaken under District Capex, ensuring improved health facilities for the general public in the shortest possible time.

The DC affirmed the district administration’s commitment to upgrading and enhancing health facilities across the district for better patient care. Subsequently, Labroo visited the Health & Wellness Centre Kralpora Building, assessing pending works. During the inspection, he assured locals that the new Health & Wellness Centre would soon be open to the public.

To expedite the functionality of the new building, Labroo stressed the timely completion of pending works, including doors and windows fittings, electricity, sanitary works, and rallying installation. He mandated that these tasks be completed within the month to ensure the healthcare facility becomes operational promptly.

Labroo highlighted the completion of various NTPHCs, including those at Gundipora, Mazhama, Kanir, Choon, and Pahroo, which were pending for several years but were successfully completed and dedicated to the public in recent months. The DC was accompanied by CPO Budgam, SDM Chadoora, concerned Tehsildars, BMOs, district health officers, EO, and other relevant officials.
