An earthquake of magnitude 3.3 struck Leh in the Union Territory of Ladakh on Friday evening, officials confirmed.

Authorities said there were no immediate reports of loss of life or damage to property following the mild quake. Local officials are monitoring the situation, though such low-intensity tremors are not uncommon in the seismically active Himalayan region.
