In a continued crackdown on drug menace, Jammu and Kashmir Police in Pulwama have recovered 64 grams of Charas-like substance at Rajpora Crossing on the New Circular Road.
An official said that a police party intercepted a vehicle (Alto 800) bearing registration number JK13A-8847 driven by Shabir Ahmad Teli, son of Ghulam Hassan Teli, resident of Drabgam. During search, 04 sticks of Charas-like substance were recovered from his possession. The vehicle involved in the commission of the offence was also seized.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said a case vide FIR No. 278/2025 under relevant section of law has been registered at Police Station Pulwama and investigation has been initiated.Police urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious drug-related activities to the nearest Police Station, reinforcing the collective resolve for a drug-free society.
