Acting on reliable information, Police in Sopore have busted an incident of gambling at a public place in Naseerabad C, Sopore, and apprehended four persons.
A Spokesperson said that police team from Police Station Sopore swiftly raided the spot and apprehended the gamblers identified as Javaid Ahmad Teli son of Ghulam Nabi Teli, Bashir Ahmad Malla son of Ghulam Nabi Malla, Awais Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar, all residents of Maharajpora Sopore and Arif Hussain Teli son of Mohammad Ashoor Teli resident of Arampora, Mohalla Teliyan Sopore.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
During the raid, cash amounting to ₹12,000 along with playing cards were seized on the spot.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 45/2026 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Sopore and investigation has been initiated.
