Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday has strongly denied claims that he tried to form an alliance with the BJP in 2024, saying he swears on the Holy Quran that the claims are false.
Replying to Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma, Omar wrote on X, “I swear on the Holy Quran that I didn’t seek an alliance with the BJP in 2024 for Statehood or for any other reason. Unlike Sunil Sharma, I don’t tell lies for a living.”Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Earlier, Sunil Sharma had said that Omar should swear on the Quran if he had not approached the BJP. The exchange has led to a fresh war of words between the two leaders.
